The Warehouse Italian Restaurant is sponsoring a fundraiser for the B&GC of Marion

(9/2/10) - The Warehouse is sponsoring a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Marion County. From Monday, Sept. 13, through Wednesday, Sept. 15, 20% of your purchase will be donated directly to the B&GC of Marion. Please remember The Warehouse closes from 2pm-5pm between lunch and dinner. Click here, print off the coupon, and have a good meal that will help a lot of kids in the Marion Community.

Benefit Concert for the B&GC of Marion
(7/10/2010) - Where Idols Once Stood, a local band, put together a benefit concert for the Boys & Girls Club of Marion. The group found local sponsors and other bands to perform, raising a total of $575.75. Thank you to all the local sponsors, bands and community members that helped with this event.

2010 Ohio Nonprofit Excellence Award

(4/15/2010) The Boys & Girls Club of Marion County was recently named as one of three finalists in our region for the 2010 Ohio Nonprofit Excellence Award.

B&GC of Marion's Summer Program at the YMCA

June 1st is the start of our summer program at the YMCA. Our program runs from 7:30a to 5:30p, Monday through Friday. Cost is based on a sliding fee scale. Members are provided with breakfast, lunch and a snack, as well as educational programming, an opportunity to swim, training in sports skills and leadership and team building activities. Parent Orientation for Summer Program

(5/23/10)

Parent orientations for our Summer Program at the YMCA will be held on May 27th, 2010 at 6p.m. and May 28, 2010 at 11a.m. Both orientations will take place at our office (370 E. Mark Street). We ask that all parents attempt to make it to one of these orientations if your children are attending the summer program. If you have any questions, please call 740-387-3462.

"The B&GC's Summer Kick-off at Bluefusion"

(5/22/10) Join the Boys & Girls Club of Marion as we kick off the summer with a bash at Bluefusion. There will be face painting, cookie decorating and tattoos. Donations of $3.00 will be taken for Ballocity and Earthquest Mini Golf. For more information Click Here .

To ensure that your children are interacting with only those individuals that have passed both the BCI and FBI background checks, we require our staff to obtain these checks every 2 years. These background checks are the same ones implemented by the Marion City School System, for all of their employees.

*NOTE: It is important for us to be informed of any information that has changed since filling out the membership application. It is imperative that we are able to reach you for any incident that may arise.
